West Texas Hunting

Hunting in West Texas gives you an incredible experience to enjoy “free range/fair chase” spot and stalk hunting of native mule deer or exotic barbary sheep/aoudad. The mountains on Chispa Mountain Ranch are rough and rugged. Our hunts are done by traveling around the ranch utilizing UTV’s on easily accessible “2 track” road systems. This allows us to navigate through the rough terrain and cover many miles. Our guides stop at prime locations to glass for mule deer or barbary sheep/aoudad. Once game is spotted, the real hunt begins. Our guides will take you as close as possible by UTV then move the hunter into their comfortable range for a successful shot. Once harvested, we perform the field care and pack out and then back to the ranch house for a relaxing evening.

  • Appropriate hunting clothing
  • Weapon of choice (Rifle, bow)
  • Backpack/hydro bladder
  • Binoculars

A VALID TEXAS HUNTING LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THE HUNT. (General license or 5 day exotic license)
